Heavy Flood at Ijesatedo, Surulere, Lagos State

 

 

 

This is the aftermath of the early morning rain that began at 4.30 am today and lasted for about 6 hours.

 

Whenever it rains, whether it’s a light drizzle or a heavy downpour, this area is always flooded. When the water level is high, it also floods the residents’ rooms, which is frustrating.

 

However, the streets and surrounding streets’ roadways and drainage systems are likewise in a terrible situation.

 

Since the local government is in charge of creating good roads and drainage systems, they should take action to improve the local area’s road network and drainage system. However, they have turned a blind eye to this problem for a very long time.
